“You crashed AlloCiné”: ticket sales for the documentary on the ascent of Everest by Inoxtag are a hit

Before its theatrical release, Inoxtag’s film is already a success. This Tuesday, from 5:30 p.m., the ticket office opened for the documentary “Kaizen, a year to climb Everest”, on the ascent of the YouTuber followed by nearly 8 million people.

Tickets were snapped up on AlloCiné and on the websites of the cinemas that were showing the show, to the point of causing some technical problems. “Impossible to get tickets for my city…” complained one Internet user on X. “We love you Inox, but your servers are D, we can’t book anything,” exasperated another. Tickets for the Grand Rex in Paris were inaccessible for several hours.

More places to come?

“You crashed AlloCiné,” the influencer himself was surprised to say in an Instagram story. “All the cinema sites have crashed, we will try to resolve this situation as soon as possible,” he also declared on X.

Some fans have also complained that the documentary is only available in very few theaters. “Almost all theaters are sold out… So we’re reopening theaters!” Inoxtag announced on Instagram.

The film will be available in theaters starting September 13. The content creator has also announced a free streaming on YouTube, in a second phase, on September 14 at 2:30 p.m. The film will not only trace the 21-year-old’s ascent of Everest, but also his year of preparation.
