Hespress electronic newspaper learned from a special source that Moroccan actress Manal Sadiki has resumed her artistic activity to complete filming a new work in which she is participating, after the incident she was exposed to on the set during the past few days.

In the details of the incident, a special source revealed to Hespress that Manal Al-Siddiqi was involved in a fall from the top of the stairs while filming a scene from a new movie in which she is starring, directed by Rabie Al-Jawhari and produced by Hassan Al-Shawi.

The same source added that the Moroccan actress suffered an injury to her shoulder and nose and some bruises on her face, which necessitated her immediate transfer to a private clinic in the city of Kenitra to undergo the necessary treatment.

A Hespress source reported that after Manal arrived at the hospital, it was found that she had suffered a fracture in her left shoulder joint, which required surgery. She remained under medical care before she passed the danger stage and left the hospital in order to rest.

The same source confirmed that the star of the series “Thuraya” chose to return to filming despite the producer’s insistence on stopping it temporarily, out of her desire not to incur additional financial losses because of her, highlighting that the producer is the one who covered all of Manal’s treatment and medical expenses.

Actress Manal Al-Siddiqi had been absent from the Moroccan art scene for many years, as she was struck by cancer at the height of her artistic career, before announcing her complete recovery from it after a long journey of treatment.

The Moroccan actress confirmed, in a previous interview with Hespress, that her absence from Moroccan works after her recovery is due to unknown reasons, highlighting that she did not receive any offers because producers and makers of Moroccan works rely on the “click” system and work with their friends and influencers coming from social media platforms, which harms the artistic sector and professional actors.
