From 9.30 am – Para-cycling, road, 6 finals

Six more decisions will be made in para-cycling road in Clichy-sous-Bois. Two German riders could be in the fight for medals in the handbike road races: Annika Zeyen-Giles (H1-4, 9:35 a.m., live stream on sportschau.de), who won silver in Tokyo, and Andrea Eskau (H5, 1:05 p.m.). Also competing in the H5 class: US star and defending champion Oksana Masters.

From 9.30 a.m. – Para-sport shooting, mixed, free rifle

In the mixed competition with the free rifle (50 m), Natascha Hiltrop and Cliff Junker will compete in the SH2 class. The qualification begins at 9.30 a.m., the final at 11.45 a.m.

From 12.00 pm – Wheelchair tennis, 2 finals

At Roland Garros, the medals are awarded in the women’s doubles and in the quad singles class. In the quad class, only athletes who are restricted in at least three extremities are allowed to take part. In the singles, the men play the semifinals. There are no German players here either.

From 12.00 pm – Sitting volleyball, semifinals (F+M)

The sitting volleyball tournaments are entering the decisive phase. The German men will face Bosnia-Herzegovina in the semifinals (12:00 p.m., live stream on sportschau.de). The second finalist will be decided at 2:00 p.m. between Iran and Egypt, and the women’s semifinals will be at 6:00 p.m. (Brazil vs. USA) and 8:00 p.m. (China vs. Canada).

12.45 pm – Wheelchair basketball, Placement round Germany – Spain (F)

After the quarter-final defeat against Canada, the German wheelchair basketball players are playing for places five to eight instead of the medals. From 4 p.m. – Wheelchair basketball, semifinals (M)

For the first time since 1992, Germany’s wheelchair basketball players are among the top four teams at the Paralympics. The 100 m breaststroke is Elena Krawzow’s signature discipline. She has held the world record since 2019, won gold in Tokyo in 2021, and was then slowed down by a brain tumor. 6:00 p.m. – Para table tennis, singles, Schmidberger vs. Feng

In a table tennis thriller, Thomas Schmidberger had to admit defeat to the Chinese Panfeng Feng in the final of the sitting class 3 in Tokyo. In the doubles in Paris alongside Valentin Baus, Schmidberger “only” managed to win silver against the Chinese. Now the 32-year-old from Borussia Düsseldorf is making another attempt at gold. The final, a repeat of the Tokyo final, Schmidberger against Feng (in the live stream on sportschau.de) will take place at 6 p.m.
