Bora Đorđević, the frontman of the band Riblja čorba, died at the age of 72 after being recently admitted to a hospital in Ljubljana with severe pneumonia.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić also said goodbye to the famous rocker.

– The great man is gone, our Bora is gone. He put us in debt with his song and his great love for Serbia. Eternal glory to him and may God rest his soul. It dawned over the church of St. Mark, and it will be like that in the decades to come – said Vučić.

By the way, President Vučić awarded Bora Đorđević with the Order of the Star of Karađorđe, first degree, at the Meeting in 2021.

Let’s remind you, Bora Đorđević was treated with antibiotics and oxygen, and after a few days due to his deteriorating condition, he was put on a ventilator. By the way, he also struggled with a serious illness for a long time. The musician had pneumonia before the New Year, which is why he canceled the concert in Nis.
