Leclerc Cyclosport Tonneins licensees recently gathered at the Ayet village hall to take stock of the 2024 season.

Recently, and in the presence of Mr. Durosier, deputy representing the mayor, the general meeting of Leclerc Cyclosport de Tonneins was held. A look back at this 43rd season for the club with its share of satisfactions but also disillusionments, especially in terms of the participation of Ufolepian runners in certain events.

The club’s members have always been present in the various organizations and have been keen to make the jersey shine while trying to reconcile their sporting objectives but also their professional and family lives.

For the Tonneinquais, the winter cyclo cross season was productive with numerous victories and in particular departmental and regional titles, the prize again going to Samuel Pontreau who ended the season with twelve victories, eleven 2nd places, departmental, regional and vice national champion, congratulations also for the two women Léna Vigneau and Eva Fraysse departmental champions in their categories, without forgetting Mathieu, Eric, Laurent, Lucas and Guillaume who participated actively, despite the difficulty of this discipline and wet the jersey.

Regarding the road for different reasons the club riders were unable to express themselves, but Erika Permenas (three victories two places and regional vice-champion), Laurent Gabas (two victories) and Franck Permenas, (one victory and seven places of honor), brilliantly defended the colors of the club even if their comrades did not spare or spare their efforts.

“But without the contribution of our various partners, whether financial or material, the club would struggle to exist and organize,” said the president of the club, Jean-Claude Daviaud.

Regarding the renewal of the office, no surprise, it is leaving for a new mandate. Honorary President: Mr. Dante Rinaudo; President Jean Claude Daviaud; Co-President: Jean Michel Denaules; Treasurer: Patricia Pirot; Secretary: Mathieu Vigneau.
