Transfers/International. After Furlong, its counterpart on the left Porter extends until 2027

Also this Monday, after the announcement of the extension of Tadhg Furlong, the Irish federation announces that of left pillar Andrew Porter, until 2027.

It’s announcement day, for Ireland and Leinster. After Tadhg Furlong, earlier this Monday, the Irish federation communicated the extension of Andrew Porter (1.85 m, 125 kg). The 28-year-old left pillar is now contractually linked to his federation until 2027.

“Playing for Ireland is something I never take for granted. I am delighted to be able to commit my future to my province of Leinster and Irelandexpressed the person concerned. He is today a captain of his selection and is even one of the best left-handers in the world. Andrew Porter has 70 caps and three tournament crowns with the XV du Trèfle since 2017, as well as four Pro 12/14 and a Champions Cup with the Leinstermen.
