The French futsal team arrived this Wednesday afternoon in Bulgaria where it will begin qualifying for the 2026 European Championship on Friday.
The road to Lithuania and Latvia passes through Borovets, the largest mountain resort in Bulgaria, 70 kilometers from Sofia and the starting point of a new qualifying campaign for Raphaël Reynaud’s men. After a long journey of two and a half hours by plane and an hour and a half by bus along the lakes to the snowy slopes of the Rila massif, the Blues took up their quarters at an altitude of 1,300 meters then carried out a light cleaning session in an annex room of the Samokov Arena in which they will return to competition two months after the World Cup and will face Bulgaria (98th in the FIFA rankings) Friday December 13 at 3:30 p.m. (live on L’Équipe Live and on FFFTV).
