Seniors 2: a cruel elimination. The reserve team of the Mirande Football Club (FCM) was eliminated in the District Challenge after a defeat on penalties against Arçon Arrats during the last group match. After a hesitant start, the Mirandais gradually imposed their game but lacked efficiency in front of goal. In the second half, a defensive mix-up gave the locals the opening goal in the 75th minute. The visitors equalized quickly on a deflection. On penalties, the Mirandais lost 5-4, narrowly missing access to the quarter-finals.
Young people: mixed fortunes. The U11s got their futsal season off to a good start. Team 1 had two wins, one draw and one loss, while team 2 had one win, two draws and one loss.
For the Entente Gers Foot Sud (GFS), the U17s suffered two defeats: 2-1 for team 1 in Auch and 5-0 for team 2 against Nord Lomagne. The U15s, traveling to Monferran-Savès, lost 3-1, due to lack of offensive realism.
Next weekend, for the FCM: the seniors receive Val d’Arros at 6:30 p.m. for team 2 and Lombez at 8:30 p.m. for team 1; the 2 U13 teams are competing in futsal at the Mirande gymnasium in the afternoon; the 2 U11 teams travel to Seissan in the morning and the U7s play futsal in the gymnasium in the morning; for the Entente GFS, the U17 team 2 receives in Labéjan while the U15 team 2 goes to Pavia.
