I left very quickly thinking I could approach a leading group, but from the 6th/7th km I found myself all alone (…). I tried to keep up the pace, but it was difficult. It was very hard at the end, but I am satisfied with my 6th place in any case.

This half marathon is getting tougher and tougher in terms of the women’s field, so I knew it would be a battle. Before the race I was a little stressed because I knew there was a lot of competition, but once the race started I started very quickly and led until 5/6 km. From 10th I found myself 2nd then 3rd, but I didn’t give up, because I had to get my podium and also in my head, I wanted to stay in Martinique, so it’s a done deal.
