THE November 9 and 10 last, the students of the Maison Familiale Rurale du Perche (MFR) of Mortagne-au-Perche (Orne) registered in CTM (technical trade certificate) and BTM (technical trade certificate) Canine and Feline Groomer, made an impression during the prestigious French Grooming Championship.

This competition, which brings together the best groomers in the country every year, allowed these young talents to demonstrate their know-how and their passion for their profession.

Two champions

In highly contested categories such as spaniel, other hair, poodle or even salon grooming, the students of the MFR du Perche excelled. Clémentine and Amandine were crowned best BTM groomers in , taking 1st and 2nd place respectively.

In CTM, Noémie and Elsa also distinguished themselves by winning the titles of best groomers with 2nd and 3rd places.

For the worlds

These exceptional individual performances also allow Clémentine, Amandine and Noémie to reach a new prestigious stage: they are now selected to participate in the WorldSkills, which will be held in October 2025.

Best school in France

Beyond individual successes, the MFR du Perche has once again confirmed its collective excellence. The establishment won, for the fourth consecutive year, the CTM schools challenge, and for the second consecutive year, the BTM schools challenge.

These victories demonstrate the quality of the teaching provided and the seriousness of the educational support within our structure. We are very happy to participate every year in this event, recognized throughout France. It offers our young people a unique opportunity to compete against the best professionals in the country and develop their skills.
