The village hall during the Roaring Twenties

Gasville-Oisème. The Roaring Twenties are back. On Sunday, for one afternoon, the Gasville-Oisème village hall was transformed into a “roaring twenties” cabaret with, as it should be at that time, songs, accordion, dances, skits, tap dances and an introduction to the charleston.

Grégoire Bailleux, the mayor, was very satisfied with the success achieved: “The seniors’ meal, on November 11 and this festive afternoon, which brought together more than a hundred people, are moments where we meet the residents . We are listening to them.”

The organization of this event, a first, was entrusted to Marie Corne and Valérie Cheneau, advisors responsible for public life.

The show was provided by a dozen actors from the Théâtre du Perst, and the dances by Natural dance from Maintenon. “We were inspired by the era of Mistinguette, where we discovered the pleasure of having fun,” explained Catherine Delannoy, host and director.

Cathy Dubuis sang a popular repertoire, accompanied by the accordion. She will be present for the Telethon on Sunday December 18, in Maintenon just like National dance, with demonstrations of contemporary ballroom, country and Afro dances.
