Coupe de France: Bordeaux passes the 4th round, Over Mandanda plays in midfield – Coupe de France – 4th round – Seudre Océan-Bordeaux (0-5)

In Bordeaux, there was the goalscoring goalkeeper, there is now the outfield goalkeeper.

This Sunday on the pitch of FC Seudre Océan (D1 district), the Girondins de Bordeaux (today in National 2) quietly passed the fourth round of the Coupe de France (0-5), thanks to goals from Ben Khemis ( 25^e), Malick Seck (39^e), Soufiane Bahassa (43^e), N’Famady Diaby (77^e) and Yanis Merdji (84^e). So quietly that at 89^e minute, Over Mandanda (25 years old) came into play… as a midfielder, he, the professional goalkeeper.

Steve’s brother, Perfect and Riffi – all four brothers are goalkeepers – returned to his training club this summer, from FC Libourne, to strengthen the reserve team in National 3. But he was in the squad of the team pennant this weekend.

Nothing surprises us anymore in Bordeaux.
