LFrench paracycling is in great shape. This Wednesday, September 4, the French won eleven medals, including four titles, in the various time trials. The raid continues on Thursday in the road races, notably with the coronation of Florian Jouanny in the H2 category. This category includes cyclists who use a handbike, i.e. a bike that moves forward using the strength of the arms.

The 32-year-old Frenchman won ahead of Spaniard Sergio Garrote after a thrilling duel. With about five kilometers to go, Florian Jouanny accelerated and took sole control of the race to win the 16e French gold medal. A solo victory that he was able to celebrate a few meters from the finish.
