Real Betis formalized this weekend the loan of Brazilian winger Antony from Manchester United until the end of the season, offering the player an opportunity to relaunch his career after his time at Old Trafford .
The 24-year-old Brazilian international, who became the second most expensive recruit in the history of the Red Devils with a transfer worth 95 million euros from Ajax Amsterdam in 2022, failed to establish himself and was short of playing time in England.
-After agreement, the Brazilian will play at Betis until the end of the season before returning to Manchester in June 2025, with no purchase option included in the contract.
The winger will begin a new chapter under the management of Manuel Pellegrini, while the Verdiblancos, currently 12th in La Liga, are well placed to qualify for the Conference League play-offs.
