Sitting in his armchair, the rifle resting on his chest, Pascal Kaczmarczyck shoots pellets, his Stitch blanket on his knees. “We don’t even know how he does it. He has a gift. It almost makes me want to have both my legs cut off,” jokes Laurent Lefevre, a retired volunteer and Pascal’s caregiver.
10.8, 10.7, 10.9, the regularity of the Eurelian shooter is astonishing. “They changed the scores a few years ago, it’s now played by tenths of a point. 10.9 being the maximum possible points,” explains Laurent.
For almost fifteen years, Pascal Kaczmarczyck has been shooting rifles:
Small feature, Pascal shoots with his mouth. More precisely, he shoots using a small plastic square that he delicately places on his trigger. It is with a slight movement of the lips that the sniper activates the mechanism. “It’s okay there, but when it’s cold, we chatter our teeth a little, it disrupts the shot,” laughs Pascal.
