Al Seyni Ndiaye is in mourning! The goalkeeper and captain of the national Beach Soccer team has lost his father!
He confided to us about his father’s fragile state of health during a broadcast with wiwsport after returning from the African Cup of Nations. The goalkeeper was overcome with emotion as the final whistle of the competition blew. He explained the reasons by informing that while being in Hurghada, he had left his sick father in Senegal. This reason being his motivation throughout the competition.
“I even told the coach that he wasn’t sure I would play in the CAN because my father was really ill. In Egypt, I was on my phone all the time. This is why I told my teammates that it was unthinkable to stop in the first round after the initial defeat” he declared last November.
Finally, Al Seyni Ndiaye informed this Saturday of the reminder to God of his father who will be buried this Sunday in Ouakam. The wiwsport editorial staff presents its sincere condolences to the player and his family.
