According to what Frank Seravalli reports on the website Dailyfaceoff.comthe Hurricanes de la Caroline would be about to conclude a complex transaction with three teams allowing them to get their hands on the Mikko Rantanen attackers of the Colorado avalanche and Taylor Hall of the Chicago Blackhawks.
Elliotte Friedman de Sportsnet reports that no extension to the Rantanen contract was provided for in the transaction at the moment. Rantanen, 28, must become a standalone player at the end of the season.
Rantanen has collected 25 goals and 39 assists for a total of 64 points in 49 games this season. He has raised 105 and 104 points in the last two seasons.
Hall was not in uniform for Friday evening’s match between the Lightning of Tampa Bay and the Blackhawks. In return for hall services, the Blackhawks are getting their hands on a 3rd round choice at the draft.
Hall has nine goals and 15 aids for a 24 -point harvest in 46 games this season, his second with the Blackhawks.
-Now 33 years old, he was limited to 10 games last year due to a knee injury.
First choice in total by Edmonton’s Oilers during the 2010 draft, Hall will be in its seventh team in the NHL. He also wore the colors of the New Jersey Devils, Arizona Coyotes, Buffalo Sabers and Boston Bruins.
