Fontaine-la-Guyon. Eleven activities proposed by the Friendship Club in 2025. Friday, at the beginning of the afternoon, in the village hall of Fontaine-la-Guyon, the general assembly of the Fontaine and surrounding area friendship club took place, whose membership increased from around a hundred to a hundred twenty-four members in one year.
Joël Minoret, president of the association for a year, recalled that “in 2024, we organized eight activities, including three day outings at Ferté-Bernard, Villandry and on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower, in December, for a memorable meal.”
This year, eleven activities are scheduled: two tea dances in Mittainvilliers-Vérigny (January 25) and Fontaine-la-Guyon (April 25), two team belote competitions (February 7 and November 21), a show in Chécy, in the Loiret (March 6), a trip to Morocco (May 10 to 17), an outing to Veules-les-Roses and Dieppe, in Seine-Maritime (June 19), a tavern in the Alpes Mancelles (September 11), a dancing meal at the Fontaine-la-Guyon village hall (October 11), a day in Ouzouer-le-Marché, in Loir-et- Cher (November 6), and an end-of-year meal (December 12).
-The friendship club also offers weekly meetings for line dancing, card or board games, and a relaxing walk around the town. The association is looking for a leader to relaunch the pétanque activity from May to October.
