It’s a transfer that seems to be coming to fruition at an impressive speed for Mamadou Sarr. Arriving in Strasbourg from OL this summer, the central defender of Senegalese origin is already preparing to head to London.
Chelsea completed the operation for a sum of 15 million euros, to which are added bonuses. The transfer will be effective after a loan to Strasbourg until the end of the season, allowing the young player to continue his development in Ligue 1.
This transfer makes Sarr a recruit of choice for Chelsea, who will integrate him into their squad after the Club World Cup scheduled for June-July 2025.
Meanwhile, the 19-year-old defender has made 13 appearances this season for Strasbourg, adding one assist to his stats.
