Due to the lack of adequate infrastructure in Niamey, Niger continues to play its qualifying matches in neighboring countries.
After several matches played in Morocco, the selection could return there next March for the 5th day of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The match against Morocco could thus be held at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, a choice which seems to be confirmed according to the latest information.
This would mean that the Moroccan selection will play two matches on the same facilities in March 2025. The first against Niger, then another against Tanzania on the 6th day.
-Currently in Group E, Morocco leads with 9 points after three wins, while Niger is second with 6 points.
