Erling Haaland’s huge contract in a few figures

This Friday, January 17, Manchester City put an end to emerging rumors around a potential departure of Erling Haaland to Spain by announcing the contract extension of its Norwegian monster. An exceptional contract both in terms of its duration and its price. The Skyblues center forward signed a contract extending until June 2034 with Manchester City, i.e. nine years of contract. With a monthly salary of 1.18 million euros per week including bonuses and image rights, this is “one of the most lucrative contracts in the history of sport” according to The Athletic.
