WRC – Entry list for Rally Sweden

After the 10 of the Monte-Carlo Rally (January 22-26), the Sweden Rally (February 13-16) is preparing to host 12 Rally1s according to the revealed entry list. On the Toyota side, there will once again be 5 Yaris even if one of them is a private one since it is entered by the Italian Lorenzo Bertelli. As for the official drivers, Sébastien Ogier is unsurprisingly missing while the Japanese manufacturer will be represented by Kalle Rovanperä, Elfyn Evans, Takamoto Katsuta and Sami Pajari.

At Hyundai, no sign of Esapekka Lappi while the Finn recently indicated that he was still in discussions for a return to the South Korean team. An absence which could definitively end his hopes after winning the Swedish Rally in 2024. World champion Thierry Neuville, Ott Tänak and Adrien Fourmaux will be the representatives of Hyundai.

Finally, 4 Ford Puma are expected on the Swedish snow in a few weeks. In addition to the M-Sport starters, Grégoire Munster and Josh McErlean, Jourdan Serderidis and Martins Sesks will be there. For the latter, it will be the first outing of the season. Recently, the Latvian confirmed his program for the 2025 campaign which will see him participate in a total of 6 rounds starting with Sweden.

Note the presence of Claire Schönborn and Lyssia Baudet in Rally3, finalists of the Beyond Rally 2024 program. This round will allow them to be decided. Thus, the one who finishes ahead of the other in Umeå will continue the Junior WRC 2025.
