Malorie Blanc, magnificent 2nd last week in Sankt Anton, discovers Cortina d’Ampezzo this weekend. The Valaisanne, always in a good mood, spoke to RTS sport before the Italian deadlines.
“Cortina is a discovery for menoted Malorie Blanc at Romain Roseng’s microphone. I had never skied on this slope. There is speed, long curves. It’s a completely different track than Sankt Anton, but I’m happy to expand my knowledge base. The setting is magnificent. It’s a pleasure…“
The Valaisanne has not changed her state of mind despite her fabulous results last week. She remains relaxed, learning. “How to approach the Cortina tests? Well, the protocol is the same everywhere. I’m not going to change my way of thinking. I’m going to take it easy and do the best I can.”
If she says she is happy to make herself known beyond Swiss borders, Malorie Blanc does not put pressure on herself. “If there are expectations, they are personal, by challengeshe confides. I’m here to get my bearings, to adapt. I don’t have any particular result objective.“
