The Cosec Trébéen was the scene of an intense and educational U8 and U9 futsal tournament, over a weekend.
In the U8 category, ten teams participated in this day where sport and learning blended harmoniously.
Each team played six matches in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Among the participants were clubs like FAC, FFCM, Trapel, Blagnac, Revel, Limoux, and Trèbes.
A 100% Trebean finale
The final offered a strong moment, pitting the two Trebean teams against each other, who had respectively eliminated FCCM and Blagnac FC in the semi-final. Coaches Geoffrey and Gautier are proud of their players.
The next day, the U9 futsal tournament kicked off at 9:15 a.m. Twelve teams from the region competed against each other: US Conques, GOAL, Montpellier Academy, Jeune Entente Toulouse (JET), Blagnac FC, FU Narbonne, Academy Aude for football, and Trèbes FC.
Each team played five group matches followed by a classification match. Conques 1 beat Conques 2 for 11th place. Trèbes FC 1 won a fierce football duel against Aude on penalties. Blagnac took 3rd place after a 1-0 victory against Montpellier academy 1.
Finally, Trèbes 2 triumphed in the final, winning 2-1 against a very good team from Montpellier Academy 2.
A weekend of success and sharing
Supervised by François Maurin, U9 coach with Momo, helped by Yacine Regragui and Hugo Allain, this futsal weekend was a real success, highlighting what François describes as “a very good generation” young players, in U8 and U9.
