The president of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Judo and Similar Martial Arts, Chafik El Kettani, was re-elected general treasurer of the African Judo Union (UAJ) during the elective general assembly held Tuesday in Casablanca.
During this conclave, the Malagasy Siteny Randrianasolo-Niaiko was reappointed as president of this body, unanimously and by acclamation, for a new term of four years, after the one started in 2021.
The new executive board of the UAJ is made up of the Botswanan Pridgeon Estony, general secretary, the Kenyan Maluki Shadrack, general director and Chafik El Kettani, general treasurer.
The Elective General Assembly of the UAJ, which saw the participation of 32 national federations, was held on the occasion of the African International Judo Open, organized from January 16 to 19 in Casablanca under the High Patronage of SM King Mohammed VI.
