The Antwerp tournament moves to Brussels.
“There’s not much to say. I did what I could to win but it wasn’t my day. I didn’t make the right decisions on the important points. I I had many opportunities to break her in the first set, but I made too many unforced errors. Overall, it was a difficult match. It’s tennis, nothing to add.said the Chinese after the match while admitting that she had hesitated to come to Australia: “I had physical problems after the WTA Finals and even discussed with my team whether I should participate in the AO or not. These issues have not yet been resolved, which puts me in a difficult situation.”
