The 49th edition of the Hassan II Trophy and the 28th edition of the Lalla Meryem Cup will take place from February 3 to 8 at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam.
Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation and the Hassan II Golf Trophy Association, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, announce the holding of the 49th edition of the Hassan II Golf Trophy Golf and the 28th edition of the Lalla Meryem Cup from February 3 to 8, 2025 at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat.
The Hassan II Trophy, which takes place on the legendary Course Rouge, is, for the third year, an essential stage of the PGA Tour Champions. 66 legends of world golf, including Ernie Els, Colin Montgomerie, Tom Lehman and Jose Maria Olazabal, are preparing to deliver a high-level sporting spectacle and write a new page in the history of the tournament under the theme of the Return of the Champions .
The Lalla Meryem Cup, played on the Blue Course, will once again bring together the women’s golf elite and will be the first stop on the annual Ladies European Tour (LET) calendar. Among the 108 competitors, Morocco will be represented by 5 players, including Ines Laklalech, Maha Haddioui and the reigning African amateur champion, Sofia Cherif Essakali.
At the same time, on the Green Course, the “Pro-Am Hassan II Kids Cup by First Tee” will feature 18 budding young Moroccan golfers in a fun and educational competition alongside professionals from the PGA Tour Champions and the LET. A great opportunity to inspire new generations.
As is tradition, the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam will open its doors to the public throughout the event, offering an immersive experience through entertainment, catering areas and interactive areas to discover golf in a friendly setting and family.
