An unmissable cultural event at the start of the year, the Children’s Book Fair in the country of King Morvan will take place from January 16 to 26, at the Tronjoly village hall, in Gourin. The opportunity for young people to discover numerous works and meet the authors.

The Children’s Book Fair is organized by the Educational Animation Center (Cap) of King Morvan’s country, which depends on National Education. It is led by Agnès Labeausse, in partnership with educational advisors from the North district, school teachers and educational teams from educational establishments in the country of King Morvan. “This book fair is a cultural moment, but also a festive one, awaited by children and their teachers, the opportunity to discover current literature, but also the authors and several activities, which punctuate the event,” explains Agnès Labeausse .

The visit to the show will be organized in several stages, a free visit among the books; games workshops around books and the exhibition on Sandrine Beau’s thriller; the presentation of books by classes. Like every year, classes will receive an author from the book selection of the year. This year, the eight authors and/or illustrators that the show will welcome are Sandrine Beau; Margaux Grappe; Sébastien Mourrain; Pierre Soletti; Marie Le Cuziat; Mathias Friman; Sophie Lamoureux and Hervé Le Goff. Shows will also be offered on weekends. Saturday January 18 and Sunday January 19, in Gourin, Le Mouflet and Le Petit Corbeau, puppet tales by the Ker Hirsute company. Saturday January 25 and Sunday January 26, in Gourin, Le Doudou de Bébé Tupa, by Sandrine Beau and Margaux Grappe. Saturday February 1st and Sunday February 2nd, in Guémené, Les Conteurs écleétiques (tales by Plume and Martin Deveaud).

After Gourin, the show will move to Guémené from January 28 to February 5. Open during the week to schoolchildren and on Wednesday, Friday evening and weekends to the public. FREE ENTRANCE.
