Arriving last summer from Morocco, Soufiane Benjdida is no longer a Standard player. At least, for now. In a laconic press release, the club announced the loan with option to purchase the player from the RWDM side, in the Challenger Pro League.

As the season progressed, the Moroccan saw his playing time decrease more and more, his last start dating from September 20. Recently, his minutes on the pitch could almost be counted on the fingers of one hand, a sign that Ivan Leko no longer counted on him.
