INFO LE FIGARO – The complainant was returning home, in the 17th arrondissement, when three men allegedly attacked her on Sunday January 12 in the evening. The judicial police are responsible for the investigation.
A 28-year-old young woman filed a complaint for a gang rape that occurred in the courtyard of her building on Sunday January 12 in Paris, we learned. Le Figaro from a source close to the case.
The complainant was returning to her home, at 118 rue Cardinet (Paris 17th), after an evening. She then allegedly encountered three North African men in the courtyard of her building.

According to her version, two of them immobilized her while a third raped her with his fingers. The trio then fled. The victim immediately contacted the police after the incident. His clothes were placed under seal. The investigation was entrusted to the 1st DPJ (1st judicial police district).
Earlier, during the night from Friday to Saturday, a 31-year-old woman was raped in the Parc de la Villette (Paris 19th) by a man who had approached her to ask for sex. In 2023, the Paris police headquarters recorded 93 rapes and 656 sexual assaults committed on public roads and similar places (woods, public gardens, etc.) in the capital, compared to 92 rapes and 691 sexual assaults in 2022.
