It’s part of the documentary Roch Voisine: The ascent that the singer’s sons participated in this televised moment, joined by Ludovick Bourgeois, the son of the late Patrick Bourgeois.
At a certain point, these young people met to discuss their childhood, which, despite some differences, presents striking similarities, notably because their respective fathers, superstars of their time, were unanimous among the fairer sex, who admired them deeply.
Ludovick Bourgeois even revealed during these interviews that his father had to completely hide the existence of his lover and his children, who were perhaps not welcome behind the scenes.
“We were hidden, he didn’t even have the right to say that he had a blonde, he didn’t have the right, we weren’t backstage», revealed Ludovick.
One of Roch Voisine’s sons, Alix-Élouan, also shared his memories linked to his father’s popularity, mentioning that, during school photo sessions, he and his brother, Kilian, could not participate due to of this notoriety. However, their parents explained to them at the time that one day they would be old enough to understand and that they could decide for themselves.
-On the other hand, Alix-Élouan and Kilian, unlike Ludovick, were not really hidden according to the interpretation of Roch Voisine and his sons, but rather protégés.
Roch had also made it clear to the public that he had the right to live his life and be a father, as we can see in the documentary, where old interviews on the subject are presented.
We therefore understand that at the time, being a “heartthrob” in the music industry represented a real challenge for certain artists.
And this was aimed, it seems, at not breaking the hearts of those who dreamed of conquering that of their idol.
