The Zebras’ nice move: Charleroi will attract a youngster from Antwerp who passed through Anderlecht – The latest transfers

Alexandre Stanic is on his way to Charleroi. The 20-year-old striker arrives from Antwerp.

Charleroi is still looking for a striker during this transfer window. It is a question of competing with Nikola Stulic and Odday Dabbagh, but above all of replacing Youssuf Sylla (who left for Willem II) as a Belgian striker under 23 years old.

According to SudInfo, the Zebras have set their sights on Alexandre Stanic, a center forward of theAntwerparrived from Mechelen last summer. This season, he played with the U23 team (one goal in D1 amateurs) but appeared four times on the first team bench and even came into the game at the end of the match against Union.

Size in the rectangle

Last season was more prolific with the young Malinois: 16 goals in 32 matches. Stanic has a fairly interesting profile, notably thanks to his large size (1m98).

The striker born in 2004 joined Anderlecht when he was six years old and stayed there until 2014. He then trained for three years at Antwerp and two years at Lokeren before joining Mechelen. KV also loaned him for a season to Pisa, with the U19s.

Alexandre Stanic will therefore arrive in Charleroi to strengthen the U23 team initially, with prospects of progressing into the first team.
