LPHF | Marie-Philip Poulin named first star of the week

Marie-Philip Poulin, of the Victoire de Montréal, was named the first star of the week in the LPHF on Monday.

Captain of his team, Poulin accumulated three points during the week. La Victoire won 4-2 against Toronto, before losing by the same score to Minnesota.

Poulin scored twice against the Sceptres, before adding a power play assist against the Frost.

The second star went to Corinne Schroeder, goalkeeper for the New York Sirens. Schroeder recorded his second straight shutout on Sunday against Toronto. This season, both shutouts in the league belong to Schroeder.

The third star was given to defender Sidney Morin of the Boston Fleet. Saturday, against Ottawa, she completed a double by scoring in overtime.
