Anderlecht interested in a striker playing in MLS

Anderlecht is active. After completing the signing of César Huerta, the Brussels club will sign Adryelson. The Brazilian defender from will be loaned with a purchase option amounting to 5 million euros.

The RSCA would also like to recruit a young offensive element before the end of the transfer window. According to the Serbian press, Anderlecht is one of the clubs interested in Jovan Mijatovic. This young 19-year-old Serbian striker wants to leave New York City FC because he does not feel happy there.

For its part, the American club is ready to sell its striker, but not at any price. It must be said that they still paid 8 million euros to withdraw him from Red Star Belgrade in February 2024.

Anderlecht will obviously not put this sum on the table for a player who has scored only one goal in fifteen MLS matches. The Brussels club could instead try to obtain a loan from the Serbian striker. The latter proved during his time at Red Star Belgrade that he had an eye for goal (10 goals and 3 assists in 36 matches).
