This Monday, January 13, the club formalized the contract extension of the scrum half.
Dorian Bellot and the SUA, it’s finally settled. This Monday afternoon, at around 5 p.m., the scrum-half signed a three-season contract with Sporting, until 2028. The news was made official almost immediately by the club, at the end of daytime.

A new one that packs a punch
Bellot, aged 24, is one of the men in good form at the moment. He participated in fourteen Pro D2 matches, including seven as a starter, scoring a try against Dax and becoming number one in the hierarchy ahead of England international Jack Maunder.

The Bellot file took several months to resolve. In our columns, the scrum half had clearly indicated his desire to continue the adventure with Sporting, but the club took a few weeks before taking action.
