This is a brand new, freely accessible sports facility that has just seen the light of day in the Square du Dr Herpin. A legacy of the Paris 2024 Games, this multi-sport field now offers a beautiful leisure and meeting space for Livry residents.
The municipality has chosen the Square du Docteur Herpin to install a brand new city stadium. This equipment is the second of the same type, after that installed in 2018 at Vincent-Auriol park.
A true place for sporting life, it now offers an open space dedicated to the practice of sport for all, with free access.
Protected by wooden cladding, it fits ideally into a green environment with its synthetic turf, combining aesthetics and playing comfort. This new leisure area measures 18 meters in length and 10 meters in width. The playing surface allows the practice of football and handball, as well as basketball. Enough to put a smile on the face of the young athletes in the neighborhood.
The cost of the project amounts to €92,140. Several financial partners contributed to its realization: the Île-de-France Region and the Métropole du Grand Paris, up to 50% of the project.
