The Belgian club, RWD Molenbeek, announced on Tuesday January 14, the arrival of 23-year-old Moroccan striker Soufiane Benjdida during this winter transfer period, in the form of loan for this second part of the season. The loan includes a purchase option.
“Trained at Raja Casablanca, the former Moroccan U23 international joined SL16 FC last summer before joining the A core of Standard de Liège during summer preparation”we can read in the press release from the Belgian team.
“During the previous year in the Challenger Pro League, he had already shown his potential by scoring 6 goals and providing an assist with the Standard U23s”he added.
Furthermore, the 23-year-old Moroccan striker will reunite with his two compatriots currently playing at RWD Molenbeek, namely defender Achraf Laaziri and midfielder Ilyes Ziani.
This season, Soufiane Benjdida played 16 matches for Standard de Liège, scoring 2 goals and providing an assist in all competitions.
