The 2024 African Nations Championship is still going ahead, according to sources within the Confederation of African (CAF).

The draw, expected for January 15 in Nairobi (Kenya), as well as the competition, scheduled for February 1 to 28 in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, are still on the CAF program.

In addition, preparations have accelerated considerably in recent days and the competing Kenyan stadiums, the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi and the Moi International Sports Center in Kasarani, are already ready.

Egypt, the country where the headquarters of CAF is located and which is participating for the first time in its history, officially announced its presence at CHAN yesterday Saturday. Le360 had also announced the presence of the Pharaohs earlier in the week.

So much data which makes it difficult to imagine any cancellation of this 8th edition.
