En-Nesyri rediscovers his net bulimia – Today Morocco

Youssef En-Nesyri, the Moroccan international and new scorer for the Turkish team Fenerbahçe, is highly coveted by the Saudi club Al Nasr who are offering 35 million euros to recruit him and have him play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo .

However, only a few months ago it was considered that he came to Türkiye with a record amount of 19.5 million euros. A transfer value which has almost doubled in the space of just a few weeks. Certainly, the Moroccan striker experienced a period of stagnation, a slump, a sort of psychological blockage which prevented him from scoring, to the point that a large majority of the Moroccan public no longer wanted to see him with the Lions. Only a small minority, including Walid Regragui, continued to believe in him. But the one we nicknamed the helicopter suddenly came back in force immediately after his recruitment by the Yellow and Black, and above all thanks to the confidence and support of Portuguese coach José Mourinho. Today, with 11 goals and 2 assists in 25 matches in all competitions, he has become the offensive leader of his team and the darling of the supporters. Of course the Turkish club would like to cash in the millions of euros offered by Al Nasr, but Youssef does not seem at all interested in the very tempting Saudi offer. He rather favors stability and his key role within Fenerbahçe.

And above all to preserve his place within the national selection. Because the adventure in Arabia could well turn into a mockery and thus sign the end of his career with the Lions (the case of Hamid Sabiri, a great player who went to be buried at the Al Fayha club). In statements to the Turkish press such as Anja Sports or Daily Sabah, the Atlas Lion is full of praise for José Mourinho, whom he considers a great coach. Thus, the Moroccan attacker appears as an example of perseverance. He did not lose hope and continued to work despite strong pressure from the public and also competition with attackers of the caliber of Soufiane Rahimi and Ayoub El Kaabi.
