The Minister of Sports, Khady Gaye Diène, announced a major reform of payments within his department. Bonuses are now paid directly to beneficiaries via the Treasury, eliminating cash transactions. This measure, welcomed by football players, is part of the “Jub Jubbal Jubanti” project, aimed at modernizing and securing the management of public funds.
“Previously, payments in this department were made in the form of travel with hard cash. I therefore proposed that from now on, the payment of bonuses should be made directly from the Public Treasury. For football, this posed no problem. As soon as it was explained to them, all players provided their account numbers, and transfers are now made directly from the Treasury. Money no longer passes through our services“, declared Khady Gaye Diène. This initiative is part of the “Jub Jubbal Jubanti” project.
