César Huerta is now a player for RSC Anderlecht. As expected, the club made its arrival official this Friday afternoon.
The end of a long file strewn with setbacks: Cesar Huerta (23 years old) is officially Mauve & Blanc, and therefore becomes Olivier Renard’s very first transfer as sporting director of Sporting Anderlecht.
The Mexican winger had an agreement with the RSCA for several days, and was on his way to Brussels earlier this week but had to postpone his arrival due to a family bereavement. Everything was decided, however: coveted by several clubs, César Huerta chose the Jupiler Pro League to launch his European career.
-The day before yesterday, Huerta flew to Belgium and already confirmed his signing for Anderlecht: “They came to see me in Mexico and invited me to come and visit the facilities. From the first contacts, they made them feel that they were really interested in me,” he explained.
“His dream begins now”: it is with these few words that the RSCA has in any case formalized the signing of the Pumas UNAM winger. César Huerta becomes the very first Mexican player in the history of Sporting Anderlecht.
