Patrick Roy and Martin Brodeur are two of the best goalies in the history of the National Hockey League (NHL).
The first, however, made sure to tell the second what he thought of their respective places in the hierarchy.
This is what Brodeur told during his recent appearance on the podcast The Cam & Strick Podcast.
“I was in Florida last year, and a friend invited me to dinner at a country club,” said the former New Jersey Devils star. Patrick is a member there. He was there with some of his friends and his girlfriend.”
“He introduced me to his lover. He told him: ‘I present to you Martin Brodeur, the second best goalie in history.’” continued Brodeur before laughing.
“I thought it was really funny!”
-Brodeur could have retorted to Roy that he experienced victory more often than him in the NHL. The first signed 691 winnings, while the second had the pleasure of winning 551 games.

Roy, however, won the Stanley Cup four times, while Brodeur lifted the precious three times.
Between them, the legends have seven Vezina Trophies and 10 Jennings Trophies. They are members of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
