The star of the Brazilian selection Neymar has suggested that he could play for the American club Inter Miami, in MLS, where the captain of the Argentine selection, Lionel Messi, has been playing for more than a year.
The number 10 of the Seleçao raised the possibility of forming a duo with Messi again within Inter Miami, after playing together for FC Barcelona and PSG.
The Brazilian press reported Tuesday that Neymar publicly acknowledged that he would like to find Lionel Messi and the Uruguayan Luis Suarez (in Miami), with whom he formed a historic trio in Barcelona.
“For sure playing with them again would be great. They are my friends. We’re still talking. It would be interesting to revive this trio,” Neymar said in an interview with CNN.
However, he added: “I’m happy at Al Hilal, I’m happy in Saudi Arabia, but who knows… football is full of surprises”.
Neymar is under contract with Saudi club Al-Hilal which ends this year. Due to a series of injuries, Neymar never reached the level his club expected of him, and spent most of his time off the field.
