After having validated their qualification for the 2025 African Nations Championship (Chan) by beating Liberia in the last round of the qualifiers, the local national team is now beginning its preparation to defend its title. The competition, scheduled for February 1-28, 2025, will be held in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. The reigning champion will aim to win a second consecutive coronation. Aware of the importance of this challenge, coach Souley-mane Diallo and his technical staff have already established an intensive preparation program for the weeks to come. The Senegalese Football Federation has announced, informs wiwsport, that the local Lions will enter a boarding camp from January 6 to 9, 2025 at the Jules François Bocandé Technical Development Center, located in Toubab Dialaw. This training camp will be a crucial step in refining the automatisms and assessing the fitness of the selected players. For this gathering, the Senegalese technician summoned a group of 25 players, mainly made up of regulars who participated in the double confrontation against Liberia.
