Marseille revive hopes of signing this Premier League talent from Fulham.
Fulham reportedly increasingly concerned about his star midfielder’s future Andreas Pereirawith renewed interest from Marseille Olympice expected during the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old Brazilian has been a centerpiece for the Cottagers since joining them from Manchester United in summer 2022.
Pereira made 99 appearances for Fulham, scoring 10 goals, and became an indispensable part of the team Marco Silva. This season alone, he has contributed to three goal involvements in the Premier League.
Despite his continued success at Craven Cottage, Pereira’s future remains uncertain as he enters the final 18 months of his contract. According to the Times, Fulham hierarchy increasingly wary of potential offers from Europeand the giants of Ligue 1, OM, would be eager to reignite their interest in the Brazilian playmaker.
Fulham successfully resisted bids for Pereira during the summer transfer window, notably rejecting an offer from 24 million euros from Marseille. However, with January fast approaching, the prospect of a new deal casts a shadow over their plans. Marseille, known for its ambitions in national and European competitions, could see in Pereira an important reinforcement for his midfield.
