OM is one of the biggest in France and has seen players of great talent throughout its history. This is particularly the case of Fabrizio Ravanelli. The latter returned to his love for the club.
A true club legend. Spent in the Marseille city between 1997 and 2000, the Italian international left his mark on the club during his time with which he was notably runner-up in Ligue 1 in 1999 as well as a finalist in the UEFA Cup the same year. The latter is still at the club as an institutional and sporting advisor. He returned to his love of OM in an interview given to FreeFOOT.
A strong bond
« I am very honored to be here, I had wonderful times as a player, and then I have always remained a supporter of OM. I never forgot OM even when I was elsewhere. My son was born here. Today, I am a manager and it is a source of pride. I was welcomed with a big heart. I am very, very happy in Marseille. I love everyone here at the club. The day I have to leave OM, as late as possible I hope, it will be hard », he said with emotion before adding that.
« Speaking with you there, it’s a very strong emotion. Sometimes I can't even find the words to express the emotion I'm experiencing right now. I'm having difficulty speaking with you today… That's the emotion of Marseille », he concludes. A beautiful declaration of love!
