Julie Fuchs absent
During the press conference organized on the set of Faustine Bollaert’s show, the producer of the show Nicolas Missoffe explained: “For the finale, Julie Fuchs, who is one of the greatest sopranos in France and the world we will say, will be at the Opéra Bastille to sing. So she won’t be able to be with us…”.
Nicolas Missoffe added: “And so we are lucky to have for this final Axelle Saint-Cirel who is this wonderful singer who sang in front of more than two billion people during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games where she sang on the roof of the Grand Palais . She’s young, she’s friendly! She is a wonderful singer and we are very happy to have her with us for this grand finale of this eleventh season.”.
It was indeed within the framework of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games that Axelle Saint-Cirel became known to the general public by performing La Marseillaise during the opening ceremony on July 26 and the athletes’ parade on September 14.
