The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) informs in a press release that it has paid the bonuses allocated to members of the local national team as well as to the young people of the U15 national school team. These funds reward the exceptional performances of these teams.
The local national team qualified for the next African Nations Championship by winning brilliantly in the qualifiers against Liberia. Indeed, the Lions drew (1-1) in Monrovia before ending with a big victory at home. This result allowed them to validate their qualification.
For its part, the U15 national school team also qualified for the 2025 African School Championship. The young players triumphed during the UFOA zone A championship, organized in Dakar, by winning the title of zone champions. These performances did not fail to be praised by the FSF which, as part of its policy of supporting its teams, decided to reward the efforts of players and supervisors with a total amount of 46,500,000 CFA francs.
This amount was distributed as follows: each player and member of the management of the local national team received a qualification bonus of 1,500,000 F CFA, while each young person from the U15 team benefited from an incentive grant amounting to 300,000 CFA francs, in addition to a bonus for their supervision. The FSF also takes this opportunity to congratulate all its national teams for their qualifications in the various competitions of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). She also expresses her support for the national Beach Soccer team, which will participate in the first FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, scheduled for 2025 in Seychelles. The FSF wishes all its teams a year 2025 rich in success, whether on the continental or global level, and remains determined to support all initiatives aimed at promoting Senegalese football at the international level.
