In the air for several days, the information is official. Mickaël Biron, lacking playing time, leaves OHL and returns to RWDM.
It’s a big blow, announced a few days ago, that the RWDM has just suffered. Lacking playing time in OHL, Mickaël Biron is back at Edmond Machtens stadium.
Loaned by the Molenbeek club to Louvain since the start of the season, the Martinican striker hardly received his chance. He has participated in 11 matches since the start of the season, for a very meager total of… 113 minutes of play.
At RWDM, however, the 27-year-old striker was crucial. For the Brussels club, he scored 23 goals and provided 3 assists in 53 matches.
It is therefore a very good blow that the RWDM has just struck, lagging behind Zulte-Waregem and the RAAL in the race to climb. With nine lengths behind Essevee, the title already seems gone. But with only five points behind La Louvière, the climb is not yet a utopia.
