The year 2024 ends auspiciously for Ayoub El Kaabi. A certified scorer for Olympiacos, the Moroccan finished the calendar year at the top of the UEFA club competition scorer rankings.
With 15 goals (11 in the Conference League, 4 in the Europa League), El Kaabi is well ahead of Harry Kane (Bayern Munich, 9 goals), Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha (FC Barcelona, 9 goals each), or even Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid, 9 goals).
El Kaabi is also second in the rankings for top scorers in all UEFA competitions, tied with Harry Kane.

He is ahead of the Swede Viktor Gyokeres, author of 5 goals in the Champions League this season, two in the Europa League last year and nine goals in the Nations League.
A few weeks ago, the former WAC and RSB striker won the title of best foreign player in the Super League in Greece.
And for good reason, El Kaabi finished top scorer in the regular season in 2023-2024 (15 goals). This season, the Casablanca native is at the top of the scorers’ rankings with 11 goals.
